Lovely little thing that i’ve been enjoying recently (thanks to Proem). I swear this guy used to do the melodies for Autechre.

woah, that’s insane.
amazing..
and you can buy a cd on his web page!
Ok, let me try and scape my jaw off the floor here. Holy cow, that was some pretty amazing stuff. Thanks Gabe and Proem for sharing this. Looks like I’m going to have to add this guy’s cd to my wish list now, and maybe even buy some of those drums.
I can definitely hear the similarities to some of AE’s earlier work. This makes me think of a thought I entertain on occasion, concerning music in a possible post-electric world. What would music sound like, if the plug was pulled for good and humans survived? Would we scavenge miles-long scrap heaps filled with metals and plastics, searching for possible musical treasures? i know it’s a somewhat pessimistic view to ponder, but the bright side would be music like this, which I think would very much sound like the electronic stuff we’ve grown to know and love today.
I’d say heavily influenced by Plaid too
^^ ditto on plaid
pretty sick stuff!!!
I saw a guy playing one of this saucer melody drums in austria back in october and i was mesmerized….. simply mesmerized….. it sure does sound like good old ae melodies doesn;t it?
