It would be really dope to hear some samples from these two ‘scrapped’ releases. My Mines I still goes in to this day.

I agree… I purchased the LP solely for the artwork (and a couple standout tracks – I loved See Me Feel Me, which helped me through rough times after losing a friend).
But overall, the album doesn’t seem to have the magic inherent in tracks like No Think / Taking You Back.

Just wish they’d get their asses down to NZ from time to time! :)

Yeah, this has been on my list a long time. Don’t know why i haven’t picked it up yet. Deru’s “Trying To Remember” was the first Merck release I picked up (I think based on the cover art alone) and I certainly have no regrets there. Thanks for reminding me of this again!

Yeah, an interesting idea, to combine the highlights here, with the earlier stuff. Its sometimes looked upon as a copout, but I guess there wouldn’t be too many complaints here. On the flip side, cheers to them for coming through with new material, instead of recycling.
